Dodge Correctional Institution

Mission. . .
Under the authority of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Dodge Correctional Institution (DCI) is one of two maximum-security prisons in Waupun, WI. Located on the grounds of the former Central State Hospital, DCI is the admission point for all male inmates sentenced by the Wisconsin court system or revoked from probation/parole supervision. DCI admits approximately 8,000 inmates annually. After a brief stay for assessment and evaluation, these inmates are sent to other prisons under the jurisdiction of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. DCI also serves as the Department's pharmacy, transportation unit, and inmate infirmary.
