Marsh Haven Nature Center
April - November

View the Horicon National Widlife Refuge at their beautiful visitor center, nature education center, art gallery, hiking paths and observation tower. The faciilty is available for groups to rent.
Open 10 AM - 4 PM weekdays and 9 AM - 5 PM weekends.
Location: 2 miles east of Waupun on state highway 49.
 $1.00/adult & $0.50/child.

HORICON NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

At over 32,000 acres in size, Horicon Marsh is the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States. The marsh provides habitat for endangered species and is a critical rest stop for thousands of migrating ducks and Canada geese. It is recognized as a Wetland of International Importance, as both Globally and State Important Bird Areas and is also a unit of the Ice Age Scientific Reserve.

SUMMER CONCERTS IN THE PARK: Summer Concerts in Dodge Park in Waupun will begin on July 1 and continue on Thursdays in July. This years concert line up includes on July 1st – The Dang It’s from Madison featuring western swing, honky tonk and Americana music. On July 8 the Beaver Dam Community Band will play a variety of marches, show and movie tunes and dixieland. The 15th brings the popular Mayville Steel Drums returning with the sounds of the Caribbean. On the 22nd  the sounds of bluegrass will offered by the Big Cedar Bluegrass Band from the West Bend area. The last concert of the season will be The Disciples of Dixieland, a six piece group of well known retired musician teachers from the area.

The 7 PM concerts are held in Dodge Park on South Madison St in Waupun. Refreshments are offered for sale and a freewill offering for concert expenses will be taken. You’ll have a chance to be the winner of a handmade knit afghan to be awarded on the last concert night. Bring friends, lawn chairs or blankets and plan on hearing some great summertime music performed by talented local musicians.
