Horicon Marsh - WDNR
Horicon Marsh is the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States. Located in southeast Wisconsin, this vast wetland is only one hour drive from Milwaukee and Madison. While this marsh in renown for its migrant flocks of Canada geese, it is also home to more than 290 kinds of birds which have been sighted over the years.
Horicon Marsh - US Fish & Wildlife
The northern two-thirds of Horicon Marsh is managed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service as the 21,000 acre Horicon National Wildlife Refuge.
Marsh Haven Nature Center
The Visitor Center/Main Building contains beautiful "museum class" displays and exhibits depicting wildlife and their habitat in and around the Horicon Marsh...the lives of Native Americans and early settlers to the area...and natural history to help you understand the "how" and the "importance" of the Horicon Marsh eco-system.

Dodge County Snowmobile Reports
An interconnected system of over 320 miles of groomed County snowmobile trails awaits the winter recreationist in Dodge County. The trails traverse farm fields, woodlots, lowlands and the Wild Goose State Trail ? an abandoned railroad grade. Easy access to the trails can be made from connecting corridor trails in Dane, Columbia, Fond du Lac, Washington and Jefferson Counties or by trailering to the many parking areas along the trail at commercial establishments or public facilities.
